Bongo Music Set

Tanzanians make beautiful music and this is certainly no indictment on Kenyan or Ugandan music, but Bongo is certainly a pleasure to listen to. This time around I got a request from Mwakhulegwa, I admit I didn’t have that much bongo but with the help of my boy marazzmataz and Ntwiga’s massive collection, which he was kind enough to share with me, coupled with the skills of the ever-impressive groove squad, we were able to make a mix truly like no other!

This is also for L - you know yourself - I’m still around. This mixx is for you since you complained i’ve gone on for too long in between dropping new mixxes.

Repercussions of a Weekend Gone Wild

The household is reeling after the celebration I had for my birthday. Balaclava clad men My boys picked me up, we had to paint the town red! That we did and the party headed back to the house where a bright idea was hatched to play spin the bottle. This idea was shot down and truth or dare was quickly adopted. From what I can remember there was alot of grown up talk flirting and embarassing secrets revealed, none more embarassing than my boy K, who revealed begrudgingly that he had fleeting affairs with the house help and kept in touch after his trip to the states. The story is now rife in the Magaidi friends network.Someone french-kissed someone, and since the affair was caught on tape (complete with audio unlike KACC) - I believe this will come in handy down the road [insert evil laugh here]! Baby girl spent the next day cleaning up, I spent the day nursing a hangover - obviously she was not amused. The household is now split in two. I have been informed that any semblance of authority I may have had has been ceded. From now on, I am told that going out will require express written permission and I have to fill this out. I have also been informed that to be fair she has offered this as her end of the bargain
