The Tag!

I was tagged by Afro to do this so here goes:

1. Black and White or Color: how do you prefer your movies?

Color.

2. What is the one single subject that bores you to near-death?

Kenyan guys this, Kenyan women that..blah blah blah senseless BS!

3. MP3s, CDs, Tapes or Records: What is your favorite medium or pre-recorded music?

MP3s. For the simple reason of convenience. I do have 2 crates of LPs sitting around though. Collector’s items, wouldn’t trade them for the world.

4. You are handed one first class trip plane ticket to anywhere in the world and ten million dollars cash. All of this is yours provided that you leave and not tell anyone where you are going…Ever. This includes family, friends, everyone. Would you take the money and ticket and run?’

No! There are people I can’t live without in my life. Buy them off? No way!

5. Seriously, what do you consider the world’s most pressing issue now?

Frankly, I don’t think governments are giving the bird flu issue the urgency and seriousness it deserves, especially African governments. Its spread and reverberations if it grows into a pandemic can be devastating. Some pundits have compared it to the Spanish Flu of 1918-1920. News reports of its discovery in Nigeria are very unsettling.

6. How would you rectify the world’s most pressing issue?

Continue to educate the masses, prepare and fund more research on how to curb its spread. Also have a contingency plan. Ao sort of disaster recovery plan if it hits. So fac, only some prescription medicines for Human Influenza can work in treating the infection, however the strain (HN51) mutates and the virus becomes resistant to the drugs. We need more research and preparation - preventative, detective and recovery plans.

7. You are given the chance to fo back and change one thing in your life; what would that be?

Spend more time with my grandmother before she passed away. I really really regret not doing this.

8. You are given the chance to go back and change one event in world history, what would that be?

The Holocaust.

9. A night at the opera, or a night at the Grand Ole Opry - Which do you choose?

Never been to either one, I’d have to flip a coin.

10. What is the one great unsolved crime of all time you’d like to solve?

The Ouko Murder - who was behind it? Get irrefutable evidence. Maybe a dude “Githongo’d” someone discussing it? (I have my suspicions, the truth is out there somewhere)

11. One famous author can come to dinne with you. Who would that be and what would you serve for the meal?

Binyavanga Wainaina. We’d prolly discuss African Affairs and feast on some Mokimo, Nyamachoma, Kachumbari and have a beer. He strikes me as an talented and gracious character.

12. You discover that John Lennon was right, that there is no hell below us, and above us there is only sky - what’s the first immoral thing you might do to celebrate this fact?

Besides not telling anyone else (hehehe)settle Old scores from Primary school. Too many to count. One particular guy though, I’d have him flogged ridiculously…snitch!

AOB: Mixx coming up next.
