I am essentially a pragmatist. I believe in a practical, matter-of-fact way of approaching or assessing situations and problem resolution. I believe in the integrity of youth, the abundance of ideas, the conglomeration of the same and the belief in self that we can surpass any barriers mental or physical. It is in this sense that I believe the right to express yourself freely and expressly is without a doubt the greatest of freedoms accorded to man. For it is within these confines that we connect earnestly believing in the notion that each of us has something to contribute to society regardless of our social or economic backgrounds as a whole. I respect and observe these rights in the belief that lack of dialogue impedes greater development now and is a stumbling block to a greater and brighter future. As Pericles the great(431BC) put it, “Instead of looking at discussion as a stumbling block in the way of action, we think it an indispensable preliminary to any wise action…”
